As far as menu creation goes in DVD authoring programs, you can't get much simpler than what's offered in EasyDVD. You're given a set of predesigned templates with empty squares where a snapshot placeholders for your videos. You can change the background image to one of your favorite pictures or videos and add whatever you want for background music. A video would provide a more engaging experience than a video because it would make it move like the ones you see before you watch your favorite movie on DVD. The quality of what you create is as you see it on the screen when you're creating it, which prevents you from being surprised at a bad creation once you pop in the burned version of your masterpiece. Once everything was up and running, we were pleased with the stability of this program. We didn't have to deal with agonizing loading times at any point in the process. Sometimes the burning process slows a user's computer down, but we didn't experience any of that here. Everything ran smoothly, which made the entire process a whole lot quicker.
Tutorials and an FAQ section are the bread and butter of Womble Multimedia's support section. In fact, they're so proud of these two features that they make them the focal point of their support page. Forums, manuals and their email address are tucked away on the right side. This layout makes sense. The tutorials and FAQ section are thorough and informative while the forum has very few posts in it, the manual is good and the email address doesn't provide users with help right away. All-in-all they have a pretty excellent support section.
With EasyDVD from Womble, you're given easy-to-use DVD authoring software capable of creating DVDs worth showing off to your friends and family. If you want a grander setup, you're going to have to go elsewhere. But if you want a no muss, no fuss method of putting together a DVD, you need to choose this program.
